Founded in 1993, Simba consultants Ltd was established to provide cost effective qualified professional services to the local community in West Yorkshire. We have since grown to provide our valuable engineering solutions throughout the UK and Internationally.

Our offices can be contacted 24 hours a day and we provide a friendly service to all our customers.

Simba Consultants commitment to providing a quality service is evidenced though our registered Quality Management System. This makes sure that all project documentation is treated the same and to the highest standard. This enables us to provide the best service possible.

 

All our designs are carried out by our fully qualified and chartered engineers and staff.

With over 200 years combined experience in the office, we are able to tackle any construction problem head on and find a valuable solution.

Our structural modelling, calculations and analysis are carried out in house using the latest design software packages. Modelling structures in three dimensions helps generate accurate and precise information to the clients and the rest of the design team.

Simba Consultants Limited was established in May 1993. We are specialists in building design, construction, repair, conversion and extensions, both large and small.

WHAT IS A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER?

Structural Engineers are specialists in building design, construction, repair, conversion and extension of all buildings both large and small. They are concerned with the foundations, walls, columns, beams and roof members which form a building’s structure and ensure its stability.

They are involved in the design and construction of small buildings like schools, houses and shop units as well as major projects such as bridges, office blocks, factories, sports stadia and hospitals.

When the stability of any property is affected by, for example, subsidence, fire, flooding, or explosion, it is the Structural Engineer who will be able to determine the degree of damage and suggest the necessary remedial action.

The company principal Eur Ing Parminder S Syan is an experienced Chartered Engineer. He has abroad experience in civil and structural engineering gained through working with both leading consulting engineers like Carl Bro Haiste in the private sector, and local authorities including Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council and Wakefield Metropolitan District Council in the public sector.

THE INSTITUTION OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS

The Institution of Structural Engineers is recognised internationally as the professional body for structural engineering. Founded in 1908, and granted a Royal Charter in 1934, the Institution now has a total membership of over 30,000. It is an authorised and nominated body of the Engineering Council and a founder member of the Construction Industry Council.

ASSOCIATION OF CONSULTING ENGINEERS

The Association of Consulting Engineers was founded in 1909. The objectives of the Association were to bring together in one body, for their mutual assistance, all those qualified engineers who practices in a purely professional capacity and were willing to be bound at all times by a strict code of professional rules.
